With someone who knows the band quite well, Boston Astronomer, the company whose CEO quit after being seen embracing a woman who wasn’t his wife during a concert, is attempting to get past the scandal.
After 13 years of marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, actress Gwyneth Paltrow revealed on X Friday that she has been hired as a spokesman by Astronomer.

A New York-based software business called Astronomer was thrust into an awkward limelight when two of its executives were seen on video sharing a passionate embrace during a Coldplay performance. The event was subsequently shown on a huge screen in the stadium.
During a concert earlier this month, Martin instructed the cameras to scan the audience, surprising both CEO Andy Byron and HR executive Kristin Cabot.
Martin made a joke when the couple came on television and immediately sought to cover their faces, saying, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
The Shakespeare in Love and Ironman actress said in a brief video that she had been brought on as a temporary ambassador for Astronomer.
Paltrow smiled and skillfully avoided bringing up the KissCam controversy. “Astronomer has received a lot of questions over the last few days and they wanted me to answer the most common ones,” he remarked.
The fact that so many individuals are now interested in data process automation has excited us, she said. Now, we’ll be doing what we do best, which is giving our clients results that will change their lives.
The identity of the pair was unclear when the KissCam footage initially appeared online. The pair was soon discovered by the corporation, and Byron quit. Social media feeds were inundated with memes, spoof movies, and screenshots of the two astonished faces as a result of the video clip.
In the days following the viral video, Coldplay’s songs had a 20% increase in online streaming, according to industry data and analytics firm Luminate.
