Miniland, which uses Lego bricks to recreate famous sites from around the globe, is one of the primary attractions. It includes famous sites throughout China, such as Shanghai’s Bund riverfront and Beijing’s Temple of Heaven. A boat excursion through a historic Lego-built Chinese water town is also available.

Ji Yujia, a Lego enthusiast who attended the launch day, said, “I think it’s a good recreation, like a real fairyland of Lego.”

Merlin Entertainments and the LEGO Group collaborated with the Shanghai government to create the resort.

Characters from Legoland performed to welcome the guests. The price of the tickets is between $44 (319 yuan) to $84 (599 yuan).

It’s true that Shanghai’s Legoland isn’t the biggest in the world.
