Malibu, CA – The three young brothers who were kidnapped during a car chase that ended in a crash have been released from the hospital after being treated for injuries sustained in the crash.

“I feel calmer, more relaxed,” the boys’ mother, who asked to remain anonymous, said after being reunited with her children.
The children’s father, also wishing to stay anonymous, shared that he had tried to intervene when he witnessed the carjacking, but was unable to stop it. In his attempt to prevent the crime, he was injured.

The carjacker drove off with the children, sparking a police pursuit that ended in a terrifying crash along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Malibu. The driver collided with another car before abandoning the stolen vehicle and fleeing on foot into a field near Portshead Road.
