Caribou, ME Weather: Warm and Breezy Tuesday Ahead of Strong Cold Front

CARIBOU, ME – Northern Maine is experiencing a warm and breezy Tuesday, but rain and a sharp cool-down are expected overnight as a strong cold front moves through, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Caribou.

Warm, Breezy Tuesday

Tuesday morning in Caribou will start off with sunshine, but clouds are expected to increase throughout the day. Highs will reach around 80°F inland, with temperatures in the upper 70s near the coast. A gusty southwesterly breeze will persist throughout the day, adding a bit of warmth to the already mild conditions.

Strong Cold Front Bringing Rain Tonight

As the cold front moves from northwest to southeast, rain will begin to develop tonight. Aroostook County is expected to see 0.5 to 1 inch of rain, with the heaviest rainfall occurring late tonight into early Wednesday morning. The rain will taper off from north to south as the front passes.

Cooler Temperatures and Gusty Winds Tomorrow
