Body Discovered Along I-75 Entry Ramp in Gordon County, Investigation Underway

Police in Georgia are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered along Interstate 75.

According to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office, a truck driver discovered a body alongside an empty minivan on the Interstate 75 Northbound 320 entry ramp on March 30 morning.

Within minutes after receiving the call, deputy sheriffs and firefighters arrived on the scene.

Deputies summoned the Gordon County Coroner and the Georgia State Patrol to the site.

According to the sheriff’s office, the victim, who was not a resident of the area, showed signs of being hit by a car.

A vehicle was discovered stuck against a guardrail a short distance from the victim. The vehicle was still in gear, with the motor running.

The victim’s family eventually confirmed that the automobile belonged to the victim.

According to investigating officials, there is currently no proof of foul play or involvement by anyone else.

The Georgia State Patrol is leading the inquiry, with assistance from the sheriff’s office and the coroner.
