Baltimore, MD – Baltimore City Police are offering a $2,000 reward for information that could lead to the identification and arrest of suspects involved in a series of robberies in the Hampden neighborhood during mid-August.
Burglaries Target Local Businesses
Police reported that at least two businesses were robbed, while a third experienced property damage on Friday, August 15.
One of the targeted establishments was Nepenthe Brewing, a local brewpub. Surveillance footage captured suspects breaking into the business, stealing two cash registers and liquor after smashing the entrance door.
“It looked like they just used a tool to shatter the glass and come through, and they kind of knew where they were going,” said Chef Andrew Cole.
On the same night, officers responded to Keller’s Liquor and Grano’s Pasta Bar for reports of property destruction. Suspects attempted to force entry by smashing the front doors. Authorities are investigating each incident individually.
Community and Police Response

Residents expressed shock over the string of crimes in a typically quiet area.

The incidents follow other crimes in the area, including a July carjacking involving five teenagers and an October 2024 shooting at Papi’s Tacos, where the owner’s vehicle was totaled during an attempted confrontation with suspects.
