IN VAN BUREN, Ark., Two people were arrested by the Arkansas State Police after they found illegal drugs during a traffic stop on I-40.
Reports say that around 2:00 p.m. on July 31, police stopped a car that was going east on Interstate 40.
They looked through the car and found 18 pints of promethazine/codeine syrup, 7,000 fentanyl pills, and weed that was not legal.
The driver and passenger of the car were both arrested, and they told police that they were going from California to Memphis, Tennessee.
