A Truck Owner in Florida Beat Up a Man Who Tried to Steal a Car and Told Him, Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes

According to officers, a 66-year-old man “butt whipped” a Florida man who tried to break into a truck, hurting him so badly that he had to go to the hospital.

Police in Brevard County said the 66-year-old man called 911 early Thursday morning to say that there was noise outside his house. Police say the man went outside to see what was going on and saw 29-year-old Blake Robinson trying to break into his truck.

After going back inside, the 66-year-old man tried to find his phone to call the police, but he couldn’t find it. When he went outside to confront Robinson, he was allegedly attacked. The suspect is said to have punched the victim in the head, thrown him to the ground, and kicked him in the head.

The older man was able to protect himself and hit the suspect, which made the younger intruder fall back. This gave the older man a chance to get away and call the police.

When police arrived, they arrested Robinson, who looked like he was having trouble getting up after being hit by the 66-year-old man. Robinson was taken to the hospital for care and then given back to the police.

The person who was hurt only needed short medical care and was not seriously hurt.

Robinson was charged with felony battery on a person over 65 and attempted theft of a vehicle. He posted a $30,000 bond and was taken to the Brevard County Jail.

“As for Robinson, he was fortunate enough to be in Brevard County where he won a few prizes for being stupid including a chauffeured ride to a local medical facility to check his injuries before arriving at his less than luxurious accommodations at ‘Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge!!'” He wrote on Facebook as Sheriff Wayne Ivey. “At the lodge, he was given a freshly washed 2 piece ensemble to get comfortable in, before being shown to his sleeping area in our open floor plan.”

Sheriff said the suspect “got an enhanced charge for hitting someone over the age of 65 who ended up whooping his punk butt!!”

Ivey said, “We hope you enjoy your stay at our lodge and as we like to say here in Brevard County, ‘Mess Around and Find Out!!'”
