A man was killed and a woman was badly hurt in a shooting at an apartment complex in Tempe on Thursday night.
Police said that around 8:30 p.m., they were called to an apartment complex near Washington Street and North Center Parkway because of reports of a shooting. They found a man and a woman who had both been shot when they got there.
The woman was taken to the hospital, according to the police. A spokesperson for the Tempe Police Department said that she was still in serious condition on Friday afternoon.
The man was named as 24-year-old Anthony Carlos by police as having died at the scene.
Police said they didn’t have any more details.
