An Employee in Wisconsin Died in a Work Accident, and Power Was a Contributing Source

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Authorities in southern Wisconsin say that over the weekend, a worker died in the course of their job.

The Waukesha Police Department says that on December 7 at 2:35 p.m., they were called to a business because of a reported workplace accident. A worker who wasn’t moving was found on top of a transformer when help arrived.

The news release says the worker was declared dead at the scene. Reports say that a probe is going on and that the company is “fully” cooperating.

Authorities say that electricity played a part in the death. Authorities say they don’t think there was any wrongdoing.

The police gave the following statement:

The safety and well-being of the people in our community are the most important things to us, and we are very sad about this loss. We are very sorry for the loss of the person’s family, friends, and coworkers.
