NY, NEW YORK — Police say a woman from Brooklyn is facing multiple charges for reportedly punching a comedian who is 90 years old.
Brittney Bullock, who is 30 years old, is being charged with assault and illegal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. The police say Bullock was arrested because she was seen hitting comedian D’yan Forest in the West Village on July 10.
Forest was getting ready for a show at Joe’s Pub to celebrate her 90th birthday. She is known as the oldest comic in the world. Police say Bullock hit Forest in the right eye out of the blue while she was walking to a gym near Bank Street.
The blow was so hard that it made Forest fall to the ground and hurt her eye. Even though something happened, the New York icon’s birthday show went on.
