Four men on a personal boat in a canal shot at a home in Golden Glades during a party on Sunday night after getting into a fight, Miami-Dade County police said. One man was hurt.
Investigator Andre Martin, a spokeswoman for Miami-Dade police, said the shooting took place at a house in the 15000 block of South River Drive around 7:15 p.m.
During the party, the unnamed men got into a verbal fight with two other people on the personal watercraft. The two others then fired their guns into the back of the house, hitting one person.
People usually call these small boats with two seats together “Jet Skis,” which is the brand name of a type made by Kawasaki.
The hurt guy was taken to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. As of Monday afternoon, Martin said, he was in stable condition there.
Martin also said that the police do not have anyone in custody who is connected to the killing.
