Police say the bodies of two firemen who went missing in Georgia have been found almost a week later.
The bodies of Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander were found on June 30, 2018, almost 400 miles away, in Cocke County, Tennessee. Anderson’s car was also found there.
Two bodies were found in a car on a road in Cosby, according to officers from Cocke County.
“Details about how their bodies were found, their vehicle, and the events that led to their deaths are not available at this time,” Hinesville police said in a Sunday update.
Anderson and Kuhbander were both firemen in Midway, Georgia, at Liberty County Fire Services Station #1. That’s where Anderson was last seen by the police.
Kuhbander is a senior firefighter with the department. He was last seen early on June 25 leaving a gym in Savannah, according to reports from WTOC and WSAV.

Liberty County fire officials paid respect to Anderson and Kuhbander online, saying that they were “two extremely dedicated employees.”
The police force wrote on Facebook that they “put their hearts and souls into protecting and serving the people of Liberty County.” “During this very sad time, our prayers and the prayers of the whole department are with the families.”
TN officers say that Anderson and Kuhbander’s bodies have been sent for an autopsy.
It takes about 60 miles to drive from Knoxville to Cosby.
