Man From Albuquerque Was Taken Into Custody After He Failed to Appear for Sentencing in Two Separate Cases

New Mexico’s ALBUQUERQUE — Agents from the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office were able to apprehend a man who had been scheduled to be sentenced for shooting at people the previous year but did not show up for proceedings. During April 2023, Kristopher Darling entered a guilty plea to two separate instances, one of which involved him shooting at a security guard.

In the same month, he was observed peeing in the road, and as a car honked at him, he fired two bullets into the air. This is according to the records that come from the court.

Prosecutors, on the other hand, stated that Darling did not appear in court earlier this month. Darling was taken into custody by DA’s agents this morning. This is the second time out of the year that he has failed to appear.
