On Thursday, a guy from Cleveland County who is being charged with the death of an infant who was just four months old is scheduled to appear in court.
In February of last year, Kehlani, who was just four months old at the time of her death, passed away while in the care of Shaun Wadlow Jr., who is now facing a charge of first-degree murder.
According to the investigators, Wadlow was responsible for the care of a newborn who was left in an apartment complex in Cleveland County. Wadlow received a phone call from the mother of the kid at around 7:14 p.m., and he informed her that the youngster seemed to be unresponsive. There was no sign of breathing in the infant when the cops came.
Following the infant’s arrival at the hospital, it was determined that the child, who was only four months old at the time, had suffered significant brain damage.
According to the findings of a child abuse medical professional, the injuries that the newborn had were consistent with the types of injuries that are associated with child abuse. Even though the youngster was receiving life support, they passed away in the hospital a few days later.
