In Mt. Vernon, the authorities detained two males on warrants for sexual assault that originated in the state of Michigan.
Officers from the Mt. Vernon Police Department and deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office worked together to help the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force in their search for two individuals who were wanted on warrants issued by other states.
On Tuesday, April 2, they discovered Blake Christie, who was 24 years old, at a residence located on Hemlock Court in Mt. Vernon.
Additionally, on Tuesday, they discovered Ethan Christie, who is 22 years old, at a different residence on Hemlock Ct in Mt. Vernon.
Both Blake and Ethan are currently being held at the Jefferson County Justice Center, where they are confronted with warrants from the state of Michigan for sexual assault.
They remained incarcerated as they awaited their extradition to the state of Michigan.
