Victims Found Shot Dead in Columbus Home

McKee is charged in the fatal shootings of his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, and her husband, Spencer Tepe, a dentist. The couple was discovered dead inside their Columbus home on December 30, each suffering gunshot wounds.

Authorities said the couple’s two children were found safe inside the residence and were not harmed.

Arrest Made in Illinois After Multi-State Search

Authorities ultimately arrested McKee on Saturday in Rockford, Illinois, though officials have not disclosed why he was in the area at the time of his arrest. McKee, who works as a vascular surgeon, was taken into custody without incident.

At the time of his indictment, McKee was being held in a Winnebago County jail before being transferred to Ohio.
