Four Men Charged in Burglary at Home of Browns Quarterback Shedeur Sanders

Four Men Charged in Burglary at Home of Browns Quarterback Shedeur Sanders

Four men have now been charged in connection with a high-profile burglary at the Ohio home of Shedeur Sanders, authorities confirmed Thursday.

During a news conference at the Medina County Sheriff’s Department, investigators detailed how the suspects allegedly carried out the November 2025 break-in while Sanders was away making his NFL debut.

Arrests and Suspects Identified

Officials said three of the four suspects were arrested in Georgia and are currently in custody. They have been identified as:

  • Jarvet Myrick
  • Deandrez Jackson
  • Maurice Taylor

A fourth suspect, identified as Carlos Deanthony Morris, remains at large. Authorities said Morris is believed to be the third individual who entered the home during the burglary, and an active warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Investigators stated that the group was using a stolen Enterprise rental car as part of their operation.

Details of the Burglary

According to Eric Bors, surveillance footage captured at 6:46 p.m. on Nov. 16, 2025, shows three masked and gloved suspects entering Sanders’ home through an unlocked glass door at the back of the residence.

The door led directly into a bedroom, where the suspects rummaged through nightstands, searched the closet, and overturned pillows on the bed. Video evidence shows the suspects carrying bags as they moved through a nearby office, the living room, and the second floor of the home, using cellphone flashlights to navigate through the dark interior.

The suspects exited the residence around 6:58 p.m., leaving through the same unlocked bedroom door. Authorities estimate approximately $200,000 worth of property was stolen, including luxury bags, totes, and a ring. None of the stolen items have been recovered so far.

Targeting High-Profile Victims

Investigators believe the suspects specifically targeted high-profile individuals with substantial financial assets. Rodney Rees said the group appears to monitor when victims are away from home before striking.

Officials also believe someone higher up in the criminal operation may be directing the suspects toward specific victims, identifying homes and ideal times to commit the burglaries.

Ongoing Investigation and Extradition

The three suspects in custody are awaiting extradition back to Ohio. However, authorities noted they are also facing unrelated criminal charges in Georgia, which could delay their return.

Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation, including the U.S. Secret Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Burglary Occurred During NFL Debut

The burglary occurred while Sanders was making his NFL debut for the Cleveland Browns against the Baltimore Ravens. In that game, Sanders completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and one touchdown.

Authorities continue to search for the fourth suspect and are asking anyone with information related to the case to contact the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
