Highland Park, Los Angeles – Police are seeking the public’s help after a 2-year-old boy was found abandoned inside a vehicle following an attempted car theft in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Attempted Vehicle Theft Leads to Disturbing Discovery
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Avenue 52 after receiving a call about an attempted grand theft auto. The vehicle’s owner told police that a man tried to steal the car but fled the scene before officers arrived.
When the victim returned to the vehicle, they made a shocking discovery. Inside the car were a toddler and a dog, both left behind after the suspect ran away. Police confirmed that neither the child nor the animal belonged to the vehicle owner.
