Fort Worth, TX – A tragic case has emerged in Fort Worth, Texas, where Josue Rodas, 29, has been arrested after allegedly murdering his wife, 21-year-old Glenda Maria Aguilera Rubio, and leaving their two children to find her body. The family moved to this residence following an altercation with family members at their previous place, during which Rodas allegedly pointed a firearm at other family members. On the night of the incident, Rodas, Rubio, and the other man were drinking alcohol together until the man went to sleep between 10 and 11 p.m. Later, the woman returned around midnight and reported that the couple was still drinking, going to bed herself about an hour and a half later.

The following morning, around 7 a.m., the couple’s children approached the woman living in the home, requesting that she check on their mother because they noticed blood on her. The woman went to the kitchen where Rubio had been resting and found her lying on the bed with visible blood on her face.
Compounding the trauma, the front door was open, and Rodas was nowhere to be found. Additionally, Rubio’s 2013 Toyota Corolla with a Mississippi license plate was missing. Surveillance footage in the vicinity captured a similarly described car driving away at approximately 4 a.m.
Emergency responders were called about 7:15 a.m. Upon arrival, Fort Worth police officers discovered Rubio had suffered what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head, and she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter at 7:29 a.m.

While Fort Worth police were investigating the scene, they were alerted that Sweetwater Police Department, nearly three hours away, had detained Josue Rodas.
