According to Ed Gonzalez, the sheriff for Harris County, it took place on the 10700 block of Wolsley Court.

The suspect is in critical condition and being transported by helicopter to a hospital.
Gonzalez said authorities do not currently think the incident is related to shooting, but the engaged deputy may have a minor injury. He subsequently verified that the deputy did not appear to have been shot, but rather appeared to have a cut on his forehead. In fair condition, the deputy is being transported to a hospital.
Update 1: The deputy is being taken in fair condition to a hospital. Lifeflight is transporting the suspect in critical condition.
