Infant, Toddler Airlifted After Violent 3-car Crash in North Zulch Officials

Two small children were carried away by helicopter for treatment following a three-vehicle incident in North Zulch on Wednesday morning.

Authorities are urging cars to avoid Highway 21 in North Zulch near Highway 39, which leads to Bryan-College Station.

Leon County Emergency Management reported a serious injury traffic accident with multiple major injuries’ on Wednesday about 10:30 a.m.

According to the Texas DPS, a BMW left a business and failed to yield to a Mitsubishi going east on the highway. The BMW virtually T-boned the Mitsubishi, pushing it into the westbound lane, where it was struck again by an SUV, overturning it.

Emergency management and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) verified that three AirMed helicopters were dispatched to assist victims in getting treatment.

The helicopters transported an infant and a toddler to a hospital. The conditions of other crash victims are yet unknown.
