Two New Jersey brothers and their puppy were killed when their car fell 30 feet from a flyover while they were street racing, leaving their two 18-year-old brothers fighting for their life, according to authorities.
Aaron Davis, 23, and Joshua Davis, 22, were not wearing seatbelts when they were flung from the rear seats of a 2006 Mazda that collided with a railing while racing a Dodge Challenger in Philadelphia late Friday, Pennsylvania State Police said Monday.
A puppy in the rear was also ejected from the car and discovered dead after it crashed about 30 feet from a flyover on Interstate 95, according to authorities.
Two more Davis brothers, Benjamin and Nathaniel, all 18, were brought to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. They remain in critical condition, according to 6ABC.
It wasn’t immediately clear which brother was driving when the vehicle crashed and fell off the flyover onto the street below.
6ABC recorded footage of the totalled automobile, which had damaged glass and was tossed onto its side.
Police believe street racing may have contributed to the incident.
