According to Edmond Police Department officials, the crash involved at least eight people, seven of whom were inside one of the automobiles.
There have been reports of non-life-threatening injuries, although the exact number of people injured is unknown. Several individuals, including children, were seen sitting on the side of the road while crews worked to clear the area.
The front end and windshield of the vehicle involved in the incident were severely damaged. The circumstances behind the crash are unknown.
