Additionally, second graders from Mountainview Elementary School went to the Stillwell retirement home to celebrate the holidays by sharing their handcrafted cards and drawings with the residents.
Students at Cesar Chaves Middle School made stunning nutcrackers in a variety of sizes and shapes as the holiday season progresses.
But when their mineral resources diminished in the late 17th century, miners in Germany invented nutcrackers to augment their earnings.
