Ten people were injured in a rollover crash early Thursday on northbound I-75.
Toledo police responded to the single-vehicle crash around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on I-75 N near the northbound I-280 junction.
The driver told police that he was heading north during heavy rain, hit a puddle in the lane, hydroplaned, and lost control of his vehicle, according to a report from TPD. The vehicle rolled at least once in the crash.
The driver and nine passengers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released from the hospital.
The victims were identified by TPD as two adults aged 34 and 25, a 14-year-old child, a 12-year-old child, a 10-year-old child, an 8-year-old child, a 6-year-old child, a 4-year-old child, a 2-year-old child, and a 6-month-old infant. All ten are from the same address in St. Claire Shores, Michigan.
The crash forced closure of I-75 N and I-280 N for two hours during the investigation.
