Freetown, MA – One man was arrested, and another remains at large after a SWAT raid at a southeastern Massachusetts home resulted in the seizure of illegal firearms and drugs. The operation took place early Monday morning, authorities confirmed.

According to the Freetown Police Department, Matthew Clark, 32, of Freetown, was arrested during the SWAT operation at his residence on Chace Road. Clark faces charges of possession of a Class B substance and possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.

Police said that during the raid, illegal drugs, firearms, and other contraband were discovered at the home. The operation was conducted by the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT Team, as part of an ongoing investigation led by the Patrol and Detective Divisions of the Freetown Police Department.

Wanted Suspect Still at Large

Authorities revealed that Frederick Clark, 46, was not present during the raid but is now wanted on multiple charges, including:

  • Three counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card
  • Possession of ammunition without an FID card
  • Receiving stolen property under $1,200

Police have issued a warrant for Frederick Clark’s arrest, and efforts to locate him are ongoing.
