Police Say They Have Seen an Alabama Man Who is Wanted in Connection With Several Killings in Arkansas

A guy from Alabama is being sought by the Arkansas State Police and other local police departments in connection with multiple murders.

The Arkansas Department of Public Safety said in a news statement Wednesday that Stacy Lee Drake, 50, from Birmingham, Alabama, was last seen outside of a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas. She is thought to be armed and dangerous. On Facebook, the Fort Smith, Arkansas, police department said Drake has ties to the area.

The police said Drake is wanted for three killings in Oklahoma that happened after two different carjackings. According to the news statement, he is also wanted on separate felony warrants from different areas for charges such as aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says that around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers from the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office went to a business in Gans, Oklahoma. They found the bodies of a man and a woman.

The OBSI said in a news statement that both had injuries that were consistent with murder.

As they looked into what happened, Drake was named as a person of interest. The OBSI said that Drake’s stolen car was found in Morrilton on Tuesday night. The last place people knew he lived was in Birmingham.

If anyone sees Drake, the ADPS says they shouldn’t talk to him and should call 911 right away.
