Las Vegas – Five people were killed in North Las Vegas overnight, and police were looking for the person who did it. They found him just before he killed himself on Tuesday morning.

A news release from the North Las Vegas Police Department says that Adams, who is 47 years old, was named by police as a suspect in two shootings that happened Saturday night.

There were shootings at two apartments, which killed five people and left a 13-year-old girl in serious condition in the hospital.

The release said that around 10 p.m. on Monday, police were told of a shooting at an apartment building on Casa Norte Drive. When cops arrived, they found two women who had been shot. One was in her early 40s, and the other was in her late 50s.

According to the cops, medical staff later said they were dead.

After some time, police found a third victim, a girl aged 13 who also had been shot. Police said she was in serious condition at the UMC Trauma Center as of Monday night.

Three more people with gunshot wounds were found in another apartment in the same complex. Two of them were women in their mid-20s and the third was a guy in his early 20s. As cops arrived, they all said they were dead.

Adams was then named as a suspect by police, and the search for him started overnight.

The police looked for Adams all night until around 10 a.m. on Tuesday when they got a tip that he was at a shop on East Lake Mead Boulevard.

When the cops showed up, Adams ran into the backyard of a nearby house.

Authorities told Adams over the radio to put down the gun, but he ignored them and later killed himself, the report says.

The event is still being looked into by the police.
